Outside Lions began as the collaboration between Joel Hermanson and Jordan Burmeister. Hermanson, originally from the Chicago area, and Burmeister, originally from Phoenix, AZ, moved to Milwaukee, WI for college in 2008. The two formed Outside Lions as a guitar/drums duo in the spring of 2012. The band now plays as a trio with Jon Taglienti on bass.
